One of the things I enjoy making most is a ruana, or silk poncho.  Because they are large I have a broad canvas to create on.  The challenge is to paint, using fiber reactive dyes, on a large rectangular surface, keeping in mind how it will eventually drape on one's body when it is worn.  The following are examples of some of the ruanas I have made.  I also enjoy creating new patterns and designs and am open to working with you to make something unique.  Please email me at: silks@artscoop.com to talk about it.
The two layer silk tops are perfect for that graduation, wedding or any special occasion you may want to attend.  They are made with Crepe de Chine silk and can be made to order in any color.
